if we buy the game on itch will we also get a Steam key when you release it on Steam or will we need to buy it again

I can't play the game for some reason. Everytime I try opening it I get errors about not being able to find certain paths. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game 3 times and even restarted my PC, but still get the same errors. Some help would be appreciated.

Also any chance you can add a feature to make sprites smaller? like x16?
